The Kaleidoscope Orchestra is one of the longest-running big bands in Washington, DC, starting in the 1970's and continuing until 2019. During the Covid-19 pandemic, it was nearly impossible to keep a big band together, so the band was defunct from 2020-2025. In 2026, the band's 3rd director Ann Marlowe passed the torch to Elijah Balbed, who is now the band's 4th ever director.

This performance will be the debut of the new Kaleidoscope Jazz Orchestra, featuring Elijah on Alto Sax and leading the band. Calling all big band lovers! Don't miss out!
